Enjoy the music, the acts, the glitter, the camp, the scandals and the fans (who are most likely gay...). After Salvador Sobral won in 2017 with the stylish and classical song "Amar Pelos Dois", Portugal will host the 2018 contest for the first time in history.

Following Salvador Sobral’s victory in Kyiv in 2017, Lisbon has the honour to host the 63rd edition of Eurovision Songcontest in 2018.

Eurovision 2018 will be held on Tuesday 8 May (first semi Final), Thursday 10 May (second semi Final) and Saturday 12 May (the Grand Final)

The event attracts thousands of European fans, who will enjoy the big media circus, the songs, the outfits, the strange languages, the country parties, the Euroclub and many Eurovision parties all around town.

The Portugese broadcaster confirmed that the 2018 host city will be the beautiful capital of Lisbon. It is a fantastic city with a rich history and cultural remains that go back to the Romans. Throughout the city you will find beautiful monuments that mark their own place in history.  Lisbon is located close to the many famous beaches, has many unique old traditions mixed with a trendy, international, modern ambience. It's is great for food, drinks, nightlife, culture and shopping. An ideal Eurovision host!

The venue: Altice Arena

The Eurovision Song Contest will be held in the Altice Arena. This arena is among the largest indoor arenas in Europe with a capacity of 20,000 people and was built in 1998 for Expo '98.

The Arena is located on the east site of the city at the Parque das Nações at the Taag river. 

The parties: EuroClub, EuroVillage & Euro Fan Café

Most likely, Lisbon will offer a couple of party venues for the all visiting fans. The EuroClub is the venue for some special parties, the official after parties and performances by participants, only accessible by accredited fans, delegates and journalists. The EuroClub will be located at Ministerium Club, right next to the Eurovision Village. It will be open from 4th May with the exact schedule to be confirmed in the coming months. 

The EuroVillage at the Praça do Comércio is an open public venue with stages and sponsor experiences.

The yet to be confirmed Euro Fan Café is set up by OGAE and will offer concerts, parties and special events, open to all fans.
